Multi-WAN Management

Control & Distribute Traffic Across Every Internet Link

Internet outages take down email, websites, applications, and VPN traffic — revenue, customer satisfaction, and productivity all at stake. GajShield's ISP Failover and Load Balancing keep traffic moving across every link you have.

Why Multi-WAN Matters

When the ISP Goes Down, Your Business Stops

Internet connectivity is at the heart of every modern business. Many enterprises maintain multiple ISP connections (multi-WAN) precisely because they rely on the internet for mission-critical applications. Connectivity is expected to be highly reliable and always available.

If the physical connection or ISP goes down, your link to the internet goes down. Email stops. Websites become unreachable. VPN traffic fails. Revenue, customer satisfaction, partner relationships, and employee productivity are all at stake. GajShield's Multi-WAN management distributes traffic intelligently across every link — with policy-based failover and load balancing.

How It Works

Three Capabilities Working Together

Failover, load balancing, and reporting — designed to keep traffic moving while giving you full visibility into what's happening across your links.

01

ISP Link Redundancy & Failover

GajShield's Multi-WAN manages traffic with valuable failover capabilities. If an internet link fails, GajShield senses the disturbance and redirects traffic to a working link. Health checks run continuously across all connections, detecting failures in real-time and automatically redirecting traffic to operational links to guarantee full availability.

Granular Per-Service Routing

Define a primary internet link and multiple secondary links for each service. For example: email — primary ISP1, secondary ISP2, tertiary ISP3. While for FTP — primary ISP2, secondary ISP3, tertiary ISP1. Different services, different priorities.

02

ISP Load Balancing

Multi-WAN load balancing uses a weighted round-robin method, distributing traffic across multiple internet links. This lets you utilise the total bandwidth of all available connections — preventing bottlenecks while minimising the cost of inefficient bandwidth utilisation.

At the same time, GajShield detects any link failure and dynamically rebalances traffic across the operational connections — failover and load balancing working together.

03

Integrated Reporting & Alerts

Current, daily, monthly, and yearly reports with trend analysis of ISP utilisation — what applications run through which ISP, and which user is using which link. Determine misuse or abuse of internet links by applications and users. Make informed decisions about bandwidth purchase and management.

Email alerts inform administrators about link outages — facilitating rapid troubleshooting before users start complaining.
